Accreditation through the American Academy for Liberal Education (AALE) is a voluntary process. An initial application for accreditation includes the basic: eligibility application processing fee, site evaluation visit fee, and travel costs. Applicants are provided with a current fee schedule at the time of inquiry. Accredited members sustain accreditation and support operating costs through yearly dues.
